CITI Training

Ochsner’s Human Research Protection Program requires all study staff to have training in good clinical practice, FDA regulated research, the history and ethics of research, and more. This training is completed through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative, CITI Program.

To complete this training you will need to do the following:

  • Register an account with CITI
  • Affiliate your account with Ochsner Clinic Foundation
  • Complete and pass the courses for “Investigators and Clinical Research Coordinators – Basic Course “
eIRB

The Ochsner IRB submission system is 100% electronic. All submissions must occur via eIRB. To qualify for an account you must meet the basic training requirements detailed above and register for an account.
