Release Date: September 17, 2024

Ochsner Academics has selected recipients from the University of Queensland Ochsner Doctor of Medicine (MD) program for the 2025 postdoctoral research fellowships.
These fellowships, which are supported by Ochsner research, give recent doctoral degree recipients an exceptional opportunity to remain engaged in clinical, translational and health services research while awaiting the start of residency training.
Postdoctoral research fellowships will occur from January 6 to May 23, 2025, during the time between the UQ-Ochsner Clinical School culmination in fall 2024 and the beginning of residency programs in summer 2025. Selection was made from a committee consisting of Ochsner research directors, managers, and staff of the bioinformatics department.
The seven 2025 postdoctoral research fellows will work with their mentor and leading clinicians and clinician-scientists in various departments including transplant, oncology, pain management, neurology, and general surgery.
