Ochsner Academics is pleased to announce recipients for 2021 post-doctoral research fellowships at The University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School.

The Post-doctoral research fellowships will occur from January 4 to May 28, 2021—after medical school and prior to start of their residency program. They give recent doctoral degree recipients an exceptional opportunity to remain engaged in clinical, translational, and health services research.

“We are pleased to award these fellowships to these outstanding recipients for their innovative and important research studies,” said W. Mark Roberts, MD, Dean of Research for Ochsner Health.

The seven 2021 fellows will work with leading clinicians and clinician-scientists across a number of disciplines including pediatric orthopedics, cardiology, nephrology, and neurology. The 2021 recipients, their mentors, and their research studies include:
