The Xavier Ochsner Pathway to Medicine (XO-Path) provides formative experiences to undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Students will engage in immersive clinical experiences, professional development, and clinical simulation training. The program is designed to build key skills, offer real-world exposure, and support students at different academic levels.
Students whose parent or legal guardian is an employee of Ochsner Health, or who are current undergraduate students at a New Orleans-based university or college, are eligible to apply. The two-week XO-Path program will occur on weekdays from June 8 to June 19, 2026, primarily at the Ochsner Medical Center, 1401-A Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, LA 70121.
