The Pan-American Life PreMed Scholar Program provides formative experiences to undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career as a physician. Students will engage in immersive clinical experiences, professional development, clinical simulation training, volunteer opportunities, and mentoring sessions. Participants who successfully complete program requirements will receive a $1,000 stipend.
Current undergraduate students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and at least 30 hours of college credit completed are eligible to apply. The four-week Scholar program will occur on weekdays from June 8 to July 1, 2026, primarily at the Ochsner Medical Center, 1401-A Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, LA 70121.
