The Department of Academics and the Ochsner Research Council are pleased to support annual awards for Outstanding Research by Trainees. This program provides five awards in each of three categories of trainees: medical students, residents and fellows. The awards cover the cost of abstract submission and registration to attend and present at the Annual Meeting of the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation (SSCI).

Application Procedure

Applications for the Outstanding Research Awards are accepted in September/October of each year. Please contact Dr. Courtney Parke, courtney.parke@ochsner.org, for more information about the application process.
