Collaborative Intramural Research Program (CIRP) with LSU Health Shreveport
CIRP grants support new co-led by at interdisciplinary teams featuring one Ochsner researcher and one tenure- or tenure-track LSU Health Shreveport faculty member.
- Projects should be interdisciplinary.
- Projects must demonstrate innovation and meaningful collaborations.
- Projects and collaborative PI teams must be new.
- Applications must demonstrate clear path to sustain the research via external funding.
- Up to $50,000 per institution per project.
Upcoming Competitions
We offer the program every Spring and open a second competition in the Fall if fewer than the targeted number of Spring applications are funded. An updated RFP and the exact deadline of the next competition will be posted as soon as it is available.
Submission Information - Spring (Annual)
Deadline: April 1
If this date falls on a weekend, applications will be due the following workday.
Key Internal Due Dates
- One (1) month before Deadline: Application Initiation Form submitted
- Three (3) weeks before Deadine: Budget justification sent to grants@ochsner.org
- Two (2) weeks before Deadline: Completed cover page sent to grants@ochsner.org for authorized signature.
