The IDS, or research pharmacy team, supports providers conducting clinical drug-related research studies at Ochsner Health. This team consists of licensed pharmacists specially trained under CFR21 and Good Clinical Practices to conduct research pharmacy functions in compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and system policy standards. We welcome providers and research teams to reach out to us prior to initiating any research study so that we can provide guidance on investigational drug management.
