Presentation Instructions and Resources
Date: May 23-May 25, 2023
- Abstracts from new innovative research and those from work previously submitted to an international, national, regional, or local conference/meeting within the past 12 months from the abstract submission deadline (i.e., submitted after February 17, 2022) can be submitted.
- Case reports/case series/clinical vignettes are welcome but must clearly report on a new disease entity or a prominent or unusual clinical feature of an established disease. This MUST be clearly stated in the abstract.
- All submitted abstracts will undergo peer-review and ranking. Authors are advised to involve co-authors and to review their work before submission to maximize the chances of acceptance.
- It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that work submitted does not infringe on any copyright. By submitting the abstract, you indicate that there is no copyright infringement.
- Abstracts are due by 11:00pm, Friday, February 17, 2023.
- All abstracts must be submitted via the Online Abstract Submission system.
- Abstract text should be divided into the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. If you are submitting a case report, enter “n/a” in the Methods box. Use the Background box for your introduction, the Results box for your case, and the Conclusion box for your discussion/conclusion.
- Abstracts are limited to 2000 characters (excludes spaces).
- Only ONE table or ONE figure will be accepted.
- Tables/Figures do count against your overall word count, subtracting 500 characters.
- Tables/Figures must be uploaded JPG, PNG, GIF format.
- Including multiple tables and/or multiple figures in one image is not permitted.
- If you submit more than ONE table or ONE figure, only the first one will be reviewed.
- If your abstract is accepted, you must prepare a poster for presentation during Research Day.
- Posters are due by May 5, 2023.

- Poster files should be titled as follows: AbstractControlNumber.pdf
Your abstract control number can be found in your submission confirmation email from ocf@support.ctimeetingtech.com.
- Posters submitted after May 5, 2023 will not be printed by Medical Illustrations or included in the Research Day website.
