Date: May 26, 2022
Abstract Submission Requirements
Abstracts from new innovative research and those from work previously submitted to an international, national, regional, or local conference/meeting within the past 12 months from the abstract submission deadline (i.e., submitted after February 21, 2021) can be submitted.
Case reports/case series/clinical vignettes are welcome but must clearly report on a new disease entity or a prominent or unusual clinical feature of an established disease. This MUST be clearly stated in the abstract.
All submitted abstracts will undergo peer-review and ranking. Authors are advised to involve co-authors and to review their work before submission to maximize the chances of acceptance.
It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that work submitted does not infringe on any copyright. By submitting the abstract, you indicate that there is no copyright infringement.
Abstracts are due by 11:00pm, Monday, February 21, 2022.
Abstract text should be divided into the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. If you are submitting a case report, enter “n/a” in the Methods box. Use the Background box for your introduction, the Results box for your case, and the Conclusion box for your discussion/conclusion.
Abstracts are limited to 2000 characters (excludes spaces).
Only ONE table or ONE figure will be accepted.
Tables/Figures do count against your overall word count, subtracting 500 characters.
Tables/Figures must be uploaded JPG, PNG, GIF format.
Including multiple tables and/or multiple figures in one image is not permitted.
If you submit more than ONE table or ONE figure, only the first one will be reviewed.
If your abstract is accepted, you must prepare a poster for presentation during Research Day.
